Reconstruction Works of the Production and Administrative-Utility Building
In 2019, reconstruction works of the production and administrative-utility building of a new facility in Kaniv, Cherkasy region, were commenced. The total area of the facility is 13,800 sq. m. According to the construction plan, it was necessary to reconstruct the building and launch a three-story production workshop equipped with warehouse facilities and an administrative-utility building.
In June 2021, the reconstruction works of the production and administrative-utility building were completed and the building was commissioned.
To achieve the set objective, the efforts of AK ART-BUD company and subcontractors completed the following scope of work:
• Demolition works: dismantling of building enclosure panels, removal of old roof covering, production building floor covering, brick walls and partitions.
• Thermal modernization of the production building: replacement of concrete enclosure panels with modern thermal insulation PIR sandwich panels.
• New roofing installation works: removal of old covering, installation of slope formation with foam concrete, insulation with PIR panels and installation of PVC roofing membrane.
• Flooring installation works: concrete floors with polyurethane self-leveling floor finish coating.
• Complex of building engineering systems installation works:
• Water supply and sewerage for production and administrative-utility building.
• Installation of electrical supply and lightning protection networks.
• Geberit storm drainage system.
• Installation of ventilation system for production and administrative-utility building.
• Internal and external steam supply and condensate drainage system.
• Installation of compressed air networks.
• Sprinkler fire suppression system.
• Automated technological equipment washing system – CIP (Cleaning In Place).
• Complex of general construction works: antifungal treatment of the building, internal plastering and finishing works, installation of new metal-plastic windows, metal doors, sectional and swing gates. Works on manufacturing and installation of metal structures for equipment rack and loading-unloading ramp, total weight of these metal structures is 35 tons. Site improvement works: soil planning and crushed stone base installation, FEM paving installation.
