In the village of Kalynivka, Mykolaiv region, the construction of a protective shelter for the local lyceum is ongoing. Our company, the general contractor for the project implemented under the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), has begun the key stage – installation of precast reinforced concrete structures.
This modern technology significantly accelerates the work and ensures high reliability of the future structure, as all elements are manufactured in factory conditions in compliance with State Building Codes.

“We understand that our children’s future and safety are our absolute priority. The main goal of the project is to build a quality facility in the shortest possible time so that children can transition from online to in-person learning. This will have a positive impact on the future quality of education. The installation of the shelter frame is a key stage that brings us closer to our goal – creating reliable protection for students and teachers. We are proud of our partnership with UNOPS and are making every effort to complete the work with quality and on time,” – comments Oleksandr Viktorovych Bazeliuk, project manager of AK ART-BUD LLC.
The project is an important example of cooperation for the restoration of safe educational infrastructure in Ukraine. After completing the frame installation, the construction team will proceed with waterproofing, insulation, utility networks installation, and interior finishing works.
