Swimming Pool Building in G.I. Petrovsky Park of Culture and Recreation

In 2012, reconstruction of the G.I. Petrovsky Park of Culture and Recreation was initiated.
The reconstruction project included park landscaping, construction of two parking lots, sports grounds, as well as construction of an indoor swimming pool with sports hall. By functional purpose, the swimming pool is designed for physical fitness and health improvement. Training sessions and swimming competitions will be conducted here, as well as fitness activities in a specially equipped gym.

The swimming pool, in addition to the main pool (25 meters long, lane width – 2.5 meters), will feature two fitness halls, a strength training hall, and saunas. The size and equipment of the swimming pool allow for serious sporting events of international level to be held. The swimming pool features a modern water purification system: water undergoes mechanical filtration upon entry, followed by minimal chlorination, however there will be no chlorine odor or effects – it is neutralized through ozonation and ultraviolet treatment. Thanks to this technology, not only antibacterial and antifungal effects are achieved, but the water also acquires a beautiful blue tint.
