Turnkey Construction in 7.5 Months: Creation of a Modern “Food Factory” Facility in Partnership with the Howard Buffett Foundation
As part of a key community social project funded by the Howard Buffett Foundation, our company served as the general contractor in constructing the modern “GOTUIIMO” food factory from the ground up. The project, with consequence class CC1, aimed to establish a high-tech facility meeting the highest safety and efficiency standards. We completed the full cycle of works: from site preparation and frame construction to the installation of specialized engineering systems and complete site improvement. The result was the commissioning of a facility that plays a strategic role in providing food services to educational institutions in the Bucha community.
Key work areas and achieved results:
1. Preparatory and monolithic frame works:
Site preparation was completed, including excavation (3,200 m³) and comprehensive dewatering (2,000 m²) using wellpoint systems for soil stabilization.
A reliable monolithic reinforced concrete building frame was constructed (foundations, columns, beams, floor slabs) with a total volume of over 560 m³ of concrete using PERI formwork systems.
2. Creation of energy-efficient envelope and interior spaces:
Installed facade system using energy-efficient Kingspan sandwich panels (1,100 m²) with PIR insulation, ensuring high thermal insulation and durability.
Interior walls and partitions (1,600 m²) were constructed using aerated concrete blocks, bricks, and Knauf drywall technologies (C111, C112) with sound insulation.
3. Installation of specialized industrial and engineering systems:
Highly resistant industrial floors (2,000 m²) were installed using specialized Flowfresh HF and Flowcoat SF41 coatings, meeting the highest sanitary requirements for food production.
Complete turnkey engineering networks were installed: water supply systems (Wavin), sewerage (Ostendorf), heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and power supply with transformer substation and switchboard equipment (Schneider Electric).
4. Site improvement and final works:
Complete landscaping of the adjacent territory, including asphalt paving (800 m²) and pedestrian zones with concrete pavers (1,200 m²).
Interior finishing works were completed in all premises (1,600 m²) using high-quality certified materials.
Thanks to precise process organization and the team’s high qualification, the food factory construction project was completed in record time — just 7.5 months. This demonstrates our ability to effectively manage complex new construction projects, successfully collaborate with international partners, and ensure uncompromising quality at all stages. The created facility is not only a modern production complex but also an important contribution to the social infrastructure and sustainable development of the region.
