The restoration of the Center was carried out by the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine and funded by the Government of Japan. This is the first of 19 facilities being restored in Donbas as part of this initiative.
The Artemivsk Territorial Center for Social Services serves 2,200 clients annually. Pensioners and people with special needs undergo rehabilitation here, engage in sports activities, and have the opportunity to socialize.
At the Center, the roof and foundation were repaired, the facade was insulated, wiring was replaced, interior renovations were carried out, and bathrooms and a ramp were installed for the convenience of people with limited mobility.
