Mariupol, 1 Volgogradska Street
From the First Capsule to the Big Ice
For us, as the general contractor, this project became a true challenge and a symbol of the revival of sports infrastructure in Eastern Ukraine. Building a modern ice arena from scratch in such a short timeframe is not just construction—it is creating a new center of attraction for thousands of people.
How It Happened: The Timeline of Creation
It all began on December 21, 2018. Together with the city authorities and the president of HC Donbas, Borys Kolesnikov, we laid a symbolic capsule in the foundation of the future complex. It was a moment of great expectations, and we made a promise: Mariupol would receive world-class ice.
Less than two years of intensive work passed, and on October 22, 2020, Mariupol Ice Center officially opened its doors.
Technical Excellence and Scale
During design and construction, we adhered to international standards for hockey arenas. Every square meter here works toward results:
• Rink: Classic dimensions of 58×28 meters, allowing for matches at the highest professional level.
• Infrastructure: Modern ice cooling systems, ventilation, and comfortable spectator areas.
• Location: Mariupol, 1 Volgogradska Street.
“Mariupol Ice Center is not just a sports facility. It is a gift to the city that we had to execute flawlessly. From the strength of the foundation slab, where the capsule was laid, to the last bolt on the arena boards—every stage underwent strict quality control.”
Mariupol Ice Center is a project we are proud of. A project where steel is tempered and champions are born.
